Happy Monday TS Family & Friends!
Im not originally from Virginia but hail from the great state of Maine. Home of moose crossings, lob-stah dinners, Moxie, and Tom's of Maine toothpaste. So being in this amazing band family means the world to me! This weekend was my birthday so the guys decided to make it special! It included some Strawberry shortcake cupcakes and wild and crazy music. These guys sure know how to party!
In other news the guys are working on writing another song currently called "Everytime" which will hopefully infuse more of an RnB feel. Another trip to the studio will be utilized for recording the drum part of Voices and maybe a few finishing loose ends to finalize the song.
I have the insider look on the struggles of being in a band; it's a lot of work collaboratively as a unit and believe me everyone doesn't always agree. It's the way things are handled and working out the kinks. Keeping "band-life" separate from "real-life" as simple as it sounds, can be very challenging. Taking "band-life" issues at face value for what they are; more of like a business matter not bringing in personal feelings. I find a deep appreciation for individuals who can keep things separate for the common good of a collective goal. Regardless of the obstacles faced, Taking Saturn's is still moving forward. Looking for that ultimate goal of changing lives through music. Finding that perfect combination of lyrics, sound and inspirational messages!
Please continue to follow these guys on their amazing journey making music and kicking ass! Hope you all have a great week!
